With constantly rising gas prices, it is no wonder that water powered cars (cars that run on water) are on the wish list of many people.  Everyone likes to save money, and having a car that can use water for gas would definitely save us money!  But, can Water4Gas deliver on its claim of showing one how to convert a car into a water powered car?
TheDiscriminatingConsumer.com doesn't think so.
Water4Gas is a do-it-yourself ebook that explains how to build a device that uses electricity out of your car's battery, to divide water into hydrogen and oxygen by electrolysis and form a gas called Brown's Gas or Oxyhydrogen.  When Oxyhydrogen combusts, it turns into water vapor and releases energy.  The minimum energy required to ignite such a reaction is about 0.02 millijoules.  Check Water fuel cell - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia for a more comprehensive explanation of why this may not work.
